'Gannin alang the Scotswood Road'
‘Gannin alang the Scotswood Road’ is a celebration of late 1940s Newcastle. Including Cambridge Street School, St Mary’s church, Villa Victoria pub, the old Co-operative Wholesale Society building Blandford House, now the Discovery Museum, The Eagle pub, Lloyds bank, The Kings Head, double and single-decker trams. A Ringtons Tea van, Brewery horse and cart, and a Scammel. Behind Scotswood Road, smoke belches out of chimney pots over rain soaked rooftops while people go about their everyday lives..
